OUR PROCESS

What to Expect

Hoffman Homes offers a complete home design process with over 160 years of combined experience.

First, you’ll explore our models and our concept and if you like what you see, you’ll reserve your homesite – risk-free! Next, you’ll complete a short questionnaire that helps us understand what you’re looking for in a new home. Once we have an idea of your preferences and tastes, a professional home designer drafts a floor plan specifically for you on the lot you have selected. You will work with a floorplan designer, interior designer, and construction specialist to design your floor plan, exterior architecture, interior details, materials, and color palette.

It’s a custom process like no other builder! ​The end result is that no two Hoffman Homes are the same inside or out.

However, if you do not want to build, you may be able to purchase one of our showhomes for sale in various price ranges.

Construction Process

Reserving Your Homesite & Building Your Home

1. Reserve Your Homesite

Fill out the online form for your desired community and let us know up to five of your top homesite preferences. If your number 1 choice is taken, we will move to your second, third choice, etc. To see available homesites, pricing, minimum home size and more, refer to the community’s Interactive Site Plan.

2. Sign Your Contract & Make Your Deposit

After we determine your homesite, you will receive an email confirming your homesite is “On-Hold” along with the next steps. You’ll also receive a separate email with our Homesite Reservation Agreement via AdobeSign. You will need to follow the steps in this email in order to e-sign. If you would prefer a pdf version of this document that you can print and return to us, please let us know. 

You will also need to make your refundable deposit via check or electronic funds transfer (EFT), which will be held in escrow, within 3 business days. You can either mail or deliver your check to the address below. If you are not in the Tulsa area, please contact us to coordinate an appropriate time frame.

3. Work with Our Design Team – Floor Plan, Elevation & Estimated Price

After you reserve a lot, the Hoffman Homes Design Team will work with you on designing your home.  This will include a personalized floor plan and elevation of the front of your home.  An estimated price will be given at this point.

4. Deposit Released & Spectacular Homes Prepares All Plans to Build – Final Price Determined

After review of your floor plan, elevation, and estimated price, if you want to move forward and have us prepare final architectural drawings, your $5,000 deposit becomes NON-REFUNDABLE and will be released to Hoffman Homes.  Upon release of the deposit, we will prepare all exterior elevations, construction plans, selection allowances and site plan on your lot.  At this time we can provide final pricing. 

5. Construction Contract Signed & Pay for Homesite

After your final price is determined, you will sign your construction contract and pay for your homesite. 

6. Construction Contract Signed & Pay for Homesite

It’s time to start customizing your home as you make selections with our interior designer! From appliances, finishes, paint colors and more, you’ll work closely with our decorator to personalize your home exactly how you want it.

7. Let’s Build Your Home!

Once all selections are made and building permits are obtained, we’re ready to start building!
